I try not to fall into the trap of routines, as every day looks different when you travel so much and depends on so many external factors.

Who or what has influenced you most in your career?
György Kurtág and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau have been the two most influential musical figures in my life, as well as the people I love and care for.
Favourite city to perform in and why?
I increasingly love to perform in places outside the major music centres of the world, where I find people are very open minded when they hear Western classical music for the first time.
Guilty pleasure/indulgence?
I love good food with a glass of nice wine.
