The stage adaptation of The Wolf of Wall Street has announced its full casting, with previews taking place in London from 5 September.
Based on the book written by infamous 90s stockbroker Jordan Belfort, the new production will be an immersive experience, with audiences getting to grips with the life of power and greed that led Belfort to serve jail time for fraud and related crimes in connection with stock-market manipulation. Award-winning director and playwright Alexander Wright adapted and directed the production. Wright also directed the longest running immersive production The Great Gatsby and Orpheus and Eurydice.
A cast of 16 will play multiple characters as featured in Belfront’s memoirs. Oliver Tilney will play Jordan Belfront with Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty playing his wife, Nadine and James Bryant as his right-hand man Danny. The full cast also includes Charlotte Brown, Ivy Corbin, Naail Ishaq and Alan Devally among others.
Brought to the stage by Stratton Oakmont Productions Ltd c/o Hartshorn – Hook Productions, The Wolf of Wall Street is one of their 120 shows in performance across five continents, including Olivier and multi-LADCC Award-winning Rotterdam.
The immersive production will take place on a 2000sq metre property, which will have four floors and 25 rooms and will undergo a makeover to recreate 90s New York and the world that Belfort lived in.
Opening night for the production will happen 4 October 2019 with tickets now on sale.
