International Arts Manager Magazine is seeking a highly motivated Advertising Sales Intern to join our team.

The role:
- Prospect and communicate with performing arts professionals, including artist agents, event managers, PR, Marketing and Communication Executives and Company Directors.
- Utilise proven sales techniques to promote advertising opportunities and generate revenue.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in market research and analysis to identify potential advertising prospects.
- Collaborate with the Advertising Manager and Publisher to develop and implement selling strategies.
- Maintain accurate and organised sales records.
- Attend meetings with the Publisher, Editor and Advertising Manager to discuss advertising strategies and promotional activities.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous sales experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong interest in the performing arts industry.
- Proficiency in a second language is preferable.
