Tallinn hosts the 35th IAMA International Conference

The 35th International Artist Managers’ Association (IAMA) International Conference will take place from 14 to 16 April 2026 in Tallinn, Estonia, hosted at the Estonian National Concert Hall. Bringing together more than 500 delegates from across the global classical music sector, the three-day gathering once again incorporates record labels and distributors through
Audio Classique.

Alongside its core business meetings, the conference programme will explore a wide range of topics shaping the contemporary music landscape. Sessions will address areas including research on classical music audiences, opera development in the Baltic States, the development and positive impact of AI on the music business, cultural diplomacy, touring orchestras and regional co-operation, audience tracking, and the often complex relationships between composers, publishers and managers.

Tallinn provides a particularly rich setting for this year’s event. Delegates will also be able to engage with the wider cultural life of the city, with additional activities coinciding with the annual Estonian Music Days festival. A special excursion is also planned to the Arvo Pärt Centre, located in the forests outside Tallinn and dedicated to the life and work of Estonia’s most internationally celebrated composer.

The conference’s social programme will highlight Estonia’s musical heritage and historic venues. An opening ice-breaker will take place at the historic House of the Society of Blackheads, while the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra performs on the second evening, featuring a special appearance by conductor Neeme Järvi, now in his 90th year. The conference concludes with a celebration at Tallinn’s iconic Song Festival Grounds, where the IAMA Award will be presented to Alain Lanceron, honorary president of Warner Classics.
