Canadian pianist Kevin Chen has signed with LIU KOTOW International Management & Promotion. A prizewinner at major international competitions, he received First Prizes at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition (2023), the Concours de Genève (2022) and the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition (2021) and was awarded the Silver Medal at the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2025). Born in Calgary and currently based in Germany, Chen has appeared with orchestras including the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Hungarian National Orchestra and Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
Pianist Marie-Ange Nguci has joined KD SCHMID for general management. A frequent guest at major international venues including the Vienna Musikverein, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Philharmonie de Paris, Tokyo Suntory Hall and Sydney Opera House, she appears this season as Artist-in-Residence with Radio France, performing with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and Orchestre National de France.
Askonas Holt has signed accordionist João Barradas for worldwide general management. A former ECHO Rising Star and recipient of the Sir Jeffrey Tate Award from the Hamburg Symphoniker, he has given solo recitals at venues including the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Gulbenkian Foundation and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Currently Artist-in-Residence at Casa da Música in Porto, his forthcoming projects include a return to the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich for Luís Tinoco’s Accordion Concerto, and the world premiere of his transcription of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra.
Violinist Joshua Brown has signed with Concert Artists Guild for management. A recipient of a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant, he gained international attention after winning Second Prize and both Audience Awards at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Brown has appeared with orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, Munich Radio Orchestra, MDR Sinfonieorchester, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra and Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, and is active as a recitalist and chamber musician across Europe and North America.
Cellist Gautier Capuçon has joined KD SCHMID for management in North and South America, the UK and Australasia, in partnership with Raab & Böhm. This season, he tours with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Kirill Petrenko and serves as Artist-in-Residence with the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, including their New Year’s Eve concert and European tour.
IMG Artists has welcomed cellist Bryan Cheng for general management. Canadian-born and Berlin-based, Cheng is a prizewinner of both the Queen Elisabeth and Concours de Genève competitions. The 2025–26 season brings debuts with ensembles including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, Musikkollegium Winterthur and the Nürnberger Symphoniker, alongside returns to the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. Active as a chamber musician, he is Musician-in-Residence with Cecilia Concerts in Halifax.
