The 47th edition of the competition saw 21 finalists competing for dance scholarships at top international ballet schools. That was after 74 candidates entered the competition, which took place at Beaulieu Theatre in Lausanne.

The eight winners are: Mackenzie Brown (US), Gabriel Figueredo (Brazil), Sumina Sasaki (Japan), Yu Wakizuka (Japan), Shuailun Wu (China), João Vitor Silva (Brazil), Alexandre Joaquim (Portugal) and Mio Sumiyama (Japan).

Candidates who didn’t make the final or win a scholarship also had the chance to meet with dance school recruiters in Prix de Lausanne’s Networking Forum.
