Applications are open for OPERA America’s 2026 Leadership Intensive, a year-long leadership development programme for rising leaders in opera administration. Selected participants will convene from 24 to 29 August 2026 in New York City at the National Opera Center for an intensive week of seminars, training and networking. Participants engage in active learning, addressing strategic challenges, building leadership skills and fostering connections across the field. US participants may receive travel and lodging reimbursement up to $1,500 per participant, and a limited number of international participants are welcome.
Throughout the year, cohorts continue their development virtually and at the annual conference, guided by expert faculty. Established in 2012, alumni now lead 10 per cent of OPERA America’s Professional Company Members.
