The ninth edition of Classical:NEXT will take place at De Doelen in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from May 18-21, 2020.
Classical:NEXT not only has new dates, but will be held on different days of the week. For 2020, the global gathering will span Monday to Thursday and, as a result, new hours and a new schedule have been unveiled.
Following its successful debut at Classical:NEXT 2019, the Higher Music Education Pre-Conference will take place once again, but new to the programme is the welcome on the first day to mark the opening of the trade fair and the first night celebration on the same day in the evening (Monday).
The Innovation Award will be held on the penultimate evening (Wednesday) and the final day (Thursday) will offer a networking opportunity and a keynote speech off-site, at a landmark location in Rotterdam.
Also in the planning for Classical:NEXT 2020 is a specially curated session of tech-focused pitches during the conference, as well as a tech island on the expo floor where exhibitors have the extra benefit of being able to do presentations and pitches.
All those interested in taking part are encouraged to get in touch via next@classicalnext.com.
