Musical signings: April 2025

Conductors

Elias Brown, conductor, composer and curator, has joined Maestro Arts for worldwide representation. Currently Assistant Conductor of the Odense Symphony Orchestra, Brown assists Esa-Pekka Salonen this season for the world premiere of Khovanshchina at the Salzburg Easter Festival, performed by the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and directed by Simon McBurney. He also earned a Solti Foundation US Opera Residency Fellowship, assisting Washington National Opera’s 2024 production of Macbeth

Alpesh Chauhan has signed with Askonas Holt for general management. Chauhan, who is currently both Music Director of Birmingham Opera Company and Principal Guest Conductor of the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, is enjoying a busy 2024-25 season including debuts with Stavanger, Detroit and Vancouver symphonies, Orchestre National de Belgique, the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and PhilZuid. 

Barbara Dragan has joined HarrisonParrott for worldwide management. Upcoming engagements for the accomplished conductor include debuts with Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Tonkünstler Orchester, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Wiener Concert Verein, Opéra de Nice and Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.  

François Leleux, renowned conductor and oboist, has joined IMG Artists for general management. During the 2024-25 season, Leleux’s conducting engagements include appearances with the Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and Robert Schumann Philharmonie Chemnitz. Additional highlights include a residency with Orquesta de Valencia as both conductor and soloist, his conducting debut with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, and collaborations with Kammerakademie Potsdam ahead of his role as Artistic Director for the 2025-26 season.

Conductor Dawid Runtz has joined Sheldon Artists for general management and exclusive representation. Runtz, who has recently been appointed as Chief Conductor of the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra, has been Chief Conductor
of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra since 2021. 

Instrumentalists

British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor has joined Askonas Holt for general management. A Decca recording artist since 2011, Grosvenor boasts a critically acclaimed discography, earning accolades such as the Diapason d’Or, Gramophone Concerto Award and BBC Music Magazine Instrumentalist Award. Highlights of his 2024-25 season include debuts with the NHK Symphony Orchestra performing Britten’s Piano Concerto under Paavo Järvi, as well as with the Bamberger Symphoniker and Dallas Symphony Orchestra. 

Sony Classical has announced its exclusive signing of pianist Alexander Malofeev. The 23-year-old Berlin-based pianist, who regularly works with distinguished conductors including Charles Dutoit, Michael Tilson Thomas, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, JoAnn Falletta and Riccardo Chailly, is expected
to release his debut album for Sony Classical in
the autumn.

Pianist Polina Osetinskaya has signed with Arabella Arts for representation in North and South America, the UK, Spain and Australia. This season’s engagements include performances of Prokoviev’s piano concertos, recitals in Estonia, Latvia, Spain and Switzerland, and engagements in Brazil with Maxim Vengerov, with whom she enjoys an ongoing chamber music collaboration.

Pianist Francesco Piemontesi has joined Askonas Holt for general management. Renowned for his interpretations of the German classical and romantic repertoire, Piemontesi’s 2024-25 season includes performances with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, NDR Elbphilharmonieorchester, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Chicago Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra. A Pentatone artist, his recent recording of Liszt’s Transcendental Etudes earned critical acclaim, including an International Classical Music Award nomination.
