Moné Hattori signs to International Classical Artists

International Classical Artists (ICA) has signed violinist Moné Hattori. The London-based company will take care of the 17-year old’s international general management.

Hattori is hot property in the classical world, having already won five international competitions including the Lipinski/Wieniawski Competition (Poland, 2009), All Japan Art Association Competition (Japan, 2009), 9th International Competition Young Virtuosos (Bulgaria, 2013), 7th International Competition for Young Violinists (Russia, 2013) and the Boris Goldstein Violin Competition (Switzerland, 2015).

Hailing from Tokyo, Hattori released her debut album – which featured Franz Waxman’s Carmen Fantasy and Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No 1 – in 2016 on Avex Classics International. She currently studies with legendary Russian violinist Zakhar Bron.

In addition to her competition and recording performances, the young violinist has appeared with the New Japan Philharmonic, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic, and the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.

Her European appearances include a concert with the European Union Youth Orchestra under Vladimir Ashkenazy, as well as recital and international festival performances.
