Classical guitarist Miloš is embarking on a UK-wide solo recital tour this month, taking on Manchester, Malvern, Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham and Perth, before ending at London’s Wigmore Hall.
Hot off the heels of his UK Classical Artist Chart no.1 album, ‘Sound of Silence’ (Decca Classics), this solo recital tour offers audiences the opportunity to hear MILOŠ in an intimate acoustic setting, as he creates a musical journey spanning three centuries with works from composers including Bach, Granados, Villa Lobos, Assad and Duplessy.
He said:“The elegance with which guitar can so comfortably sit between the worlds of classical and mainstream is very special and indeed unique.
“The music I selected for this programme includes some of classical guitar’s all-time favourites, such and Villa Lobos and Bach, but also pieces that continue to stretch the imagination and style with innovation and freshness of approach. I am extremely excited to start this new year with repertoire that matters most to me, performing recitals in places I cannot wait to return to.”
