Marcus Felsner has launched a new arts management agency. Felsner Artists is based in Munich and will reptesent singers, instrumentalists and conductors.
Artists signed to the roster include conductors Anna Skryleva, Audrey Saint-Gil and Victorien Vanoosten; pianists Aaron Pilsen and Sergei Babayan; sopranos Samantha Gaul and Sarah Traubel; cellist Hee-Young Lim; baritone Michael Borth; and violinist Kirill Troussov.
Commented Traubel in a post on Facebook: “I am incredibly excited to join Felsner Artists for worldwide general management! What an amazing sign of confidence in the arts and in us artists to create this new type of management now!”
Feslner’s most recent role was as managing director, Europe, at Opus 3 Artists. He explained the decision to create a new firm in a post on his website: “The service needs for many of the world’s greatest artists are undergoing fundamental change. Felsner Artists aims at offering a unique service to an exclusive group of outstanding artists, both exceptionally gifted young talent and legendary classical musicians.
“The company also offers services for directors and top-level artistic management, opera companies, orchestras, festivals, record labels and related media organisations.”
