Akram Khan’s Giselle will return to London next year.
Following a popular premiere and world tour this year, the production will be staged at Sadler’s Wells in September 2017 – back by popular demand.
The dancemaker’s re-imagining of the iconic tale of love and betrayal was called “beautiful and intelligent” by the New York Times.
Costumes and set design come from Oscar winning designer Tim Yip (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), with music by Vincenzo Lamagna adapted from the original Adolphe Adam score, and performed live by English National Ballet Philharmonic.
