KAMS shares best practice at global arts events

Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS) will attend two arts events in Morocco this month in an effort to exchange cultural strategy and best practice.

The MENA/European Training in Culture and Creative Sector Management event will take place in Casablanca from 5-12 November, followed by the Visa for Music meeting in Rabat from 12-15 November.

In Casablanca the KAMS team will present its 2013 publication Guide to Mobility Funding Opportunities – Focus on 13 Arab Countries. Other presenting organisations include On the Move and the Arab Education Forum, all working to build a network with African and Middle Eastern institutions.

Towards the end of the month KAMS will attend CINARS in Montreal from 17-22 November, introducing delegates to Korean performing arts. Sungsoo Ahn Pick-up Group and Gong Myoung are the Korean organisations performing at CINARS this year.

KAMS is also currently calling for proposals for Center Stage Korea 2015. Eligible projects are a single festival or venue presenting a Korea-focused programme featuring multiple Korean artists or companies; or a tour featuring one of more Korean artists with partner organisations in several venues. All projects must be carried out between March and December 2015. The deadline for proposals is 30 November.
