The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to nurturing global arts leadership with two significant announcements. The organisation has revealed its latest cohort for the 2025-27 Netherlands Fellowship Programme while simultaneously opening applications for its 2025 Global and England Fellowship programmes.
The newly announced Netherlands Fellowship cohort is supported by Performing Arts Fund NL and showcases ISPA’s dedication to fostering diverse talent in the performing arts sector. Four emerging leaders have been selected: Mxolisi Masilela (Founder & CEO at South Africa’s The Tx Theater), and three Dutch professionals: Yannick Noomen (Artistic Director at Nineties), Maya Roest (Artistic Director at RIDCC), and Andrea Voets (Artistic Director at Resonate Productions).
Additionally, ISPA has announced that applications are now open for its prestigious 2025 Global Fellowship and 2025-27 England Fellowship programmes. These fellowships offer unique opportunities for emerging and mid-career performing arts professionals to expand their international networks and advance their leadership skills.
The Global Fellowship provides a one-year ISPA membership and access to the New York 2025 ISPA Congress, along with professional development opportunities. Meanwhile, the England Fellowship offers a more extensive three-year programme, granting participants access to ISPA’s network and resources from 2025 to 2027. Both fellowships include ISPA membership benefits; full registration for the New York ISPA Congress; a pre-Congress seminar for networking and skill development; and financial support for travel and accommodation expenses
The application deadline for the Global Fellowship is 2 August and 6 August for the England Fellowship.
