ISPA and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society are teaming up for the fourth time for another ISPA Series at the Fringe. This year’s programme – an all-digital affair due to COVID-19 – is led by Yaron Lifschitz.
Lifschitz, who is artistic director at Circa Contemporary Circus, will pick up on themes he addressed at ISPA’s January congress earlier this year. On that occasion he discussed how “art can help us face our future and make our future” – particularly pertinent given the current global crises.
“Yaron will revisit that provocation reflecting on the world events that have occurred since,” said ISPA CEO David Baile. “Following his talk, we will have the opportunity to go into small breakout rooms before convening as a whole for a broader discussion.”
ISPA Series at the Fringe begins at 14:00 BST on 26 August, with the event running for an hour. It is part of the Fringe’s Fringe Exchange 2020 programme, an online series that follows the dates the festival would have run (7-31 August).
