There are just three days left to submit projects to ISPA’s Pitch New Works Program (PNWP) for its New York 2017 congress.
PNWP is a forum for artists and arts professionals where they can discover and share new performing arts projects. Pitchers have the chance to reach more than 400 performing arts professionals, which can lead to new partnerships, touring opportunities, offers of financial support and other positive outcomes.
In total 10 successful projects will be selected for the New York 2017 congress. In addition to pitching, participants will also take part in ISPA’s professional exchange events, as well as seeing their work shared through an online Pitch Project Directory and via ISPA’s monthly newsletter.
Past companies to take part in PNWP include Bill T Jones/Arnie Zane Dance (US), Chunky Move (Australia), Tafelmusik (Canada), Opera Africa (South Africa), Brussels Jazz Orchestra (Belgium) and AsiaNow (South Korea).
ISPA particularly encourages applications that involve multidiscipline or cross-cultural elements.
Applicants do not need to be ISPA members, although non-members will be charged USD50 (€45). Applications must be received by 17:00 EDT on 23 September. To find out more, head to the ISPA website.
