Applications open for Pitch New Works at ISPA 2025 Lugano Congress
ISPA’s Pitch New Works is now accepting applications for its upcoming session at the ISPA 2025 Lugano Congress, taking place in Switzerland from 10 to 13 June. Applications are open until 7 March 2025. While priority will be given to projects from Switzerland and surrounding regions, creators from around the world are encouraged to apply.
Originally developed at the Banff Film and Television Festival in Canada, Pitch New Works has grown into a global platform presented at ISPA congresses. Twice a year, 10 innovative works are selected, giving both emerging and established creators the chance to showcase their projects to an influential audience of performing arts leaders worldwide.
Past participants have secured touring opportunities, industry representation, project support, performance engagements and global exposure—making this a must-apply event for creators seeking to elevate their projects on an international stage.
Artists and creative teams with new works in development (with a premiere scheduled within the next two years) or projects that have premiered in the last three years are encouraged to apply.
Key Dates:
- Submission deadline: 7 March 2025
- Notification of status: 11 April 2025
- Pitch session: 12 June 2025, at the ISPA 2025 Lugano Congress
- A non-refundable application fee of US$50 applies per submission.
