Intermusica has announced the launch of its new US-based subsidiary, Intermusica Inc, which will operate as Intermusica New York. Located in Columbus Circle, the new office aims to strengthen the company’s presence across North America and cultivate closer relationships with US and Canadian artists, ensembles and venues.
As part of this expansion, Intermusica New York has incorporated Wittenberg Artists, a New York-based boutique agency. Martin Wittenberg, founder of Wittenberg Artists, will lead the new venture as Director, reporting to Intermusica’s Founder and Chief Executive, Stephen Lumsden, and Joint Head of Artist Management, Aimee Chow. Deborah Borda, Intermusica’s Non-Executive Chair, will provide additional strategic guidance.
Lumsden emphasised the importance of the North American market to Intermusica and the opportunities this expansion presents for growing international careers. The New York team will work closely with the parent company to maintain a cohesive global strategy while tailoring its services to the unique needs of the North American market.
