h Club, London’s private member’s club for members of the creative industries, is hosting an exhibition dedicated to Oasis. Masterplan 25 features photographs of the band to mark the 25th anniversary year of their debut album Definitely Maybe.
The photographs come from Michael Spencer Jones, the photographer who took the album’s iconic cover. In addition to creating their artwork he travelled with the band on tour, capturing them onstage and off.

“Seen from the digital matrix in which we now live, Oasis were the last gasp of air in the analogue age; the last great rock’n’roll band before Zuckerberg, before iPhones and before the internet began to shape and control our lives,” observed Jones. “I hope this exhibition gives fans a chance to pause and reflect and look back upon a time when the face and image of Britain was being revolutionised from below.”

The free exhibition runs from 22 November – 12 January. Limited edition artworks and signed prints will be on sale, including a 3D image of Definitely Maybe exhibited for the very first time.
