Emily Beynon, chairwoman of the flute jury, said: ‘It has been a great honour and privilege to listen to all these wonderful young players! The future of flute playing is in very good hands with this next generation of artists!’

During the final round of the competition, which was held at Geneva’s Victoria Hall, performed Mozart’s Concerto for flute solo and orchestra N°2 as well as Concerto for flute and strings by Jolivet. They played with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Nicholas Chalvin.
