Celebrated composer, conductor and pianist Joe Hisaishi, known for his long-standing collaboration with Japanese anime director Hayao Miyazaki and the Studio Ghibli films, has joined HarrisonParrott for global management. Hisaishi’s busy 2024-25 season includes conducting debuts with San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and Philadelphia Orchestra, the world premiere of his Harp Concerto with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and a two-day residency at Royal Albert Hall in London.
Pianist Maxim Lando has joined Arabella Arts for general management. The 21-year-old American first made headlines when he performed with Lang Lang, Chick Corea and The Philadelphia Orchestra at Carnegie Hall’s 2017 Opening Night Gala. Since then, he has performed with leading orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, Toronto Symphony, Vancouver Symphony, Zurich Chamber Orchestra and Czech National Symphony Orchestra, while his many prizes include First Prize at the New York Franz Liszt International Competition (2022) and Third Prize at the International Cleveland Piano Competition (2024).
Nicolas Namoradze has joined James Brown Management for general management. In recent seasons, the visionary pianist, composer and winner of the 2018 Honens International Piano Competition, has performed with orchestras including the London Philharmonic, Dresdner Philharmonie, Budapest Festival Orchestra and Sinfonieorchester Basel, and at festivals including Tanglewood, Banff, Verbier and Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Violinist Lisa Batiashvili has joined Opus 3 Artists for representation in North America. This season, the Georgian-born German violinist will appear with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and New York Philharmonic, among others.
Irish soprano Sarah Brady has joined IMG Artists for general management. This season she makes a number of operatic role and house debuts, at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Royal Ballet and Opera and Oper Berlin. She will be represented by Callan Couglan.
Soprano Jeanine De Bique has joined HarrisonParrott’s HP VOICE division for worldwide management. This season, De Bique’s highlights include a return to the Grand Théâtre de Genève under Paolo Carignani, and Staatsoper Unter den Linden for her role debut as Violetta in La traviata, while on the concert platform her engagements include appearances with Staatskapelle Berlin, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Concerto Köln in Berlin.
Fellow soprano Maria Kokareva has also joined HarrisonParrott’s HP VOICE division. This season Kokareva’s international debuts include Ismene (Mitridate) at both Teatro alla Scala and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) as a member of the prestigious opera studio of Staatsoper Unter den Linden.
Gabriella Reyes has joined IMG Artists for general management. The Nicaraguan-American soprano, who was recently announced as a Sphinx Organisation 2025 Medal of Excellence Honouree, will be represented by Callan Coughlan.
Mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean has joined Askonas Holt for worldwide management. This season, her highlights include a return to Bayerische Staatsoper, the release of seven albums, and debuts with Ensemble MusikFabrik in Cologne, Phaedra Ensemble for Music in the Round, at Festival November Music in s’Hertogenbosch and New Music Dublin. She will be managed by Megan Steller.
Maire Therese Carmack has joined Askonas Holt for worldwide general management. This season the American mezzo-soprano debuts with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera and the Santa Fe Symphony, among others. She will be managed by Nicholas Moloney.
Tenors Lucas van Lierop and Christopher Sokolowski have joined HarrisonParrott’s HP VOICE division. Their busy rosters include many engagements, with van Lierop making debuts at the Salzburg Festival (Capriccio) and Theater Basel (Turandot), while Sokolowski will be making role debuts at Theater Bremen and Staatsoper Hannover. They will both be managed by Anna Fauth.
Samuel Dale Johnson has signed with IMG Artists for general management. This season, the Australian baritone will make debuts with Opera Australia, State Opera of South Australia and Kymi Sinfonietta in Finland. He will be represented by Callan Coughlan.
Günther Groissböck has joined Askonas Holt for worldwide management. The Austrian bass has a busy 2024-25 season, with highlights including a return to La Scala in his signature role of Baron Oches in Der Rosenkavalier and appearances in Wagner operas at the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Lohengrin), Wiener Staatsoper (Tannhäuser), and the Bayreuther Festspiele (Tristan und Isolde). He will be represented by Angelica Conner.
