CINARS, the Canadian performing arts biennial, has put out a call for its Pitch Session: New Works programme. The pitch session will give eight artists the chance to present their work to more than a thousand arts managers, agents and programmers in Montréal.
A description of each of the selected projects will be featured in the CINARS programme, as well as on its mobile app and website. Each artist then gets five minutes to present their pitch during the biennale, followed by a brief Q&A session with the audience. Presentations can be made in either French or English, supported by a simultaneous translation service.
Past Pitch Session: New Works presenters include companies such as Théâtre Motus, Les Deux Mondes, Anandam Dancetheatre, Glimt and L’Orchestre D’Hommes-Orchestres.
Applicants must provide a 150-word summary of their work as well as a video excerpt. Each application costs CAD25.
CINARS runs from 12-17 November, 2018.
