When Classical:Next, the major international gathering of the classical music industry, announced that it would not be going ahead in 2023, there was concern that the classical recording industry would be left without a venue for its all-important annual meeting place. Thankfully IAMA (the International Artist Managers’ Association) was able to come to the rescue and has offered a chance for the recording industry to join them for a dedicated event, Audio Classique, alongside IAMA’s own annual conference in Vienna.
Taking place from 24 to 25 April at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Audio Classique will provide a mix of conference sessions and networking. and will be the place to be for the classical recording industry this Spring. It will also provide a useful opportunity for artist managers and the recording industry to come together and forge a joint agenda for the future health of classical music across the globe.
