Aerowaves, a hub for dance discovery in Europe, is inviting emerging choreographers to become a Twenty20 artist, with a chance for applicants’ work to be programmed at Spring Forward Festival.
Aerowaves holds an annual open call for choreographers working and based in Europe who want to be part of their company with the chance to work alongside its 33 partners. The selected artists will have the chance to perform their work at its 2020 festival, to be held in Rijeka, Croatia.
Spring Forward is Aerowave’s three-day festival, held in a different European city in April each year. At least 10 of the Areowaves Twenty20 artists will be invited to perform, with around 100 performance opportunities for the choreographers guaranteed.
Eligible applicants must create a short 15-40-minute length piece that has been produced in geographical Europe and has already been presented to the public. The deadline for applications closing 12 September 2019.
