March Sinings: Conductors

Jakub Przybycień and Julie Røssland have joined Askonas Holt’s main roster, having previously been members of the agency’s Conducting Fellowship. Przybycień, a prizewinner at the International Conducting Competition Rotterdam and recipient of the Ernst-von-Schuch Conducting Prize, has recently made debuts with the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya and the Arctic Philharmonic, and is currently Assistant Conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Røssland has appeared with orchestras including the Swedish Radio Symphony, Stavanger Symphony and Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, with forthcoming debuts across Europe, including engagements at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet.

Satoshi Yoneda has joined IMG Artists for worldwide general management, excluding Japan, where he is represented by Japan Arts. He came to international attention in 2025 as the winner of the Grand Prix at the Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors. He has since appeared with orchestras including the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. Earlier milestones include reaching the final of the Tokyo International Music Competition for Conducting in 2021.

Lorenzo Viotti has joined Künstleragentur Dr. Raab & Dr. Böhm for worldwide general management. The Swiss conductor becomes Music Director of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra from the 2026–27 season and will become General Music Director of Zurich Opera House from 2028–29. From 2021 to 2025, he was Music Director of Dutch National Opera, and has appeared with orchestras including the Berliner Philharmoniker, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig.

Kazem Abdullah and Chia-Hsuan Lin have joined Visconti Arts for international management. Abdullah’s recent highlights include opening the Metropolitan Opera’s 2023–24 season with Anthony Davis’s X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X, alongside engagements with leading US orchestras and opera companies. This season he debuts with the Naples Philharmonic, Kansas City Symphony and North Carolina Symphony. Lin, Music Director of the Rochester Symphony (MN) and Principal Guest Conductor of the Richmond Symphony, has led performances with ensembles including the National Symphony Orchestra and Minnesota Orchestra. Her forthcoming US engagements include a debut with the Orlando Philharmonic and return performances with the Virginia Symphony and Minnesota Orchestra.
