Artist network phase7 teamed up with 3D audio innovators IOSONO for their latest walk-in opera installation, Celestial Mechanics – Displaced and Relocated.
Premiering in the foyer of Deutsche Oper Berlin on 23 August, the production is a 3D immersive experience, combining the work of Mauricio Kagel with that of phase 7’s musical director Christian Steinhäuser.
Four singers and six musicians play live, whilst the strings section is heard virtually.
