WFIMC Regional Conference in The Netherlands

Next month, the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC) will hold a Regional Conference in ’s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. The event will be hosted by the International Vocal Competition ’s-Hertogenbosch (IVC), which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. Taking place at the same time as the IVC Finals, the conference will provide an intimate and inspiring setting for in-depth conversations, roundtables and networking, with a special focus on voice and opera, and featuring prominent guests such as Sir David Pountney and Dame Gwyneth Jones. Another highlight will be a panel discussion entitled “The Sustainability and Survival of Opera” with a number of well-known speakers.
