Stage Technologies and TAIT relocate to joint site

Set and stage creators TAIT and sister company Stage Technologies have moved into a new joint location on Las Vegas’ Wynn Road.

The new office, which includes 30000 square feet of workshop space, seven loading docks and a full ground-supported test stand will accommodate work for West Coast theatre, casino and theme park clients.

The new space also provides utilities and systems for testing and system configurations for these projects.

In addition to functioning as TAIT’s West Coast permanent installation hub, the onsite team will handle operations, local show service and support, project management and administration.

Dana Bartholomew, VP of West Coast Operations, said: ‘The new TAIT Stage Technologies facility is not only great for clients in this region, but it will also serve as a home base for our integrators when they’re working on installation projects, tours and upgrades worldwide.’

On-site staff from both organisations will be fully cross-trained in TAIT’s Navigator system as well as the eChameleon software by Stage Technologies.

TAIT specialises in staging, scenic design, LED integration, show control and automated rigging. The company works internationally has supplied the stage sets for some of the world’s biggest shows. Its portfolio includes 700 LED umbrellas that featured as part of the 2012 London Olympics, and a four-plane chandelier for The Phantom of the Opera at Las Vegas’ Venetian Hotel and Casino.
