New play to tour British prisons

Written by Katie Hims and directed by Lucy Morrison, Billy the Girl is the latest offering from Clean Break, a British theatre company working with women affected by the criminal justice system.

Focusing on a young woman who tries to clear her name in the face of her family’s betrayal, the play runs at London’s Soho Theatre until 24 November, after which it will tour prisons throughout the UK.
