A hotly anticipated new international centre for music, designed by the renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, will finally open its doors in the New Year.
The Philharmonie de Paris in France will mark the occasion with three gala evenings from 14-16 January and an open house weekend from 17-18 January.
Billed as the largest music campus in the world, acts lined up for the opening events include The Orchestre de Paris, Les Arts Florissants, the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, accompanied by star artists, Paavo Järvi, Hélène Grimaud, Renaud Capuçon, and Lang Lang.
