LIU KOTOW and MünchenMusik Group launch joint agency

Artist management boutique agency LIU KOTOW and German concert promoter MünchenMusik Group have announced the founding of a joint agency, LIU KOTOW Artists GmbH & Co. KG, which will have its headquarters in Munich.

The new agency combines LIU KOTOW’s international artist management expertise with MünchenMusik’s tour management division; both companies are family-run businesses. LIU KOTOW, known for its work with artists including Hayato Sumino, Anastasia Kobekina and Bomsori Kim, focuses on long-term career development and international positioning across Europe, Asia and North America. MünchenMusik, founded in 1984 by Andreas Schessl and Dea v. Zychlinski-Schessl, organises approximately 600 concerts per season in around 20 concert series in German-speaking countries, with tours for
Jonas Kaufmann, Jonathan Tetelman and Joe Hisaishi, and concert formats including Bach in Space and Vivaldi Immersive.

Andreas Schessl, Shannen Liu-Kotow and Gregor Kotow will serve as managing directors of the new agency, with Liu-Kotow and Kotow overseeing artist management and Roman Hölzle continuing to lead the tour management division.

Schessl said: “Both partners are deeply committed to new concert productions, modern approaches, and innovative ways of engaging with classical music for audiences today and in the future. By combining international artist management with extensive concert and tour experience, we are creating new opportunities for artists and for the development of future-oriented projects.”
