The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) is offering three ways for delegates to get personally involved in its upcoming New York City congress.
The first, Design Thinking: New Ideas Today, will take the form of a pitch session and see delegates share ideas that “promise to have a global impact on and for the performing arts”. ISPA is accepting proposals until 5 October.
The second is Coffee Klatch, where delegates can discuss performing arts topics over breakfast. “These discussions will be hosted by you, the delegates, with the topic of your choice,” said ISPA CEO David Baile. Discussion topics can be submitted through ISPA’s website.
Finally, today (21 September) is the deadline for ISPA’s Pitch New Works session, “a forum for creators and arts professionals to share and discover new performing arts projects at ISPA congresses.” Again, submissions can be made through ISPA’s website.
Running from 8-10 January, this year’s congress theme is Transitions: Today’s Future for the Arts. Early bird registration is available until 26 October.
