Digital marketing for the arts discussed in free session

The secrets of digital success are being shared at The Art of Digital, a free workshop aimed at arts organisations hosted by arts administration specialists Spektrix and digital agency AD.

Taking place on 26 February at Tron Theatre in Glasgow, three digital marketing themes are under discussion: ‘How to Make a Million?’ – getting quality and quantity in online interactions; ‘Are You up to Scratch?’ – an examination of sales and marketing data from across the arts sector; and ‘Getting Closer to Your Audience’ – using data to reach key demographics.

Cat Leaver, head of strategy at AD, explained why arts groups should attend: ‘With limited budgets and resources arts marketers need to be even more savvy with their activity and digital offers the perfect opportunity to do so, whilst measuring success.’

The focus is on free tools and making the most of available data, allowing arts organisations to maximise their digital marketing potential in the same way as the private sector.

Spektrix are the UK leader in software for box office, sales, fundraising and admin for the arts sector, giving them a unique insight into the needs of clients and the public with partners including Bristol Old Vic and Royal Court Theatre. AD, who have offices in Glasgow and London, work on everything from digital marketing strategies to website design with clients like the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Experts on audience insights Culture Republic will also be in attendance, leading the Getting Closer to Your Audience session.

The course runs from 10:30am until 12:30pm, with spaces limited; places can be reserved here.
