Dance Theatre of Harlem, which had ceased performing during the period 2004 and 2012, has embarked on an international tour this summer.
The renowned troupe danced at the Israeli Opera House in Tel Aviv between 30 May and 2 June, and offered 15 workshops for young people as part of a nine-day residency.
DTH will then perform at the Kennedy Center’s Ballet Across America Festival III on 7 and 9 June, followed by an appearance at Jacob’s Pillow from 19-23 June. The revived company’s latest season will conclude with one performance at Turkey’s Izmir Festival on 28 June.
