Classical:NEXT has launched an official call for future host cities, inviting proposals from European cities and regions to host the international professionals’ meeting for classical and art music from 2028 to 2030.
The call is open for proposals to host one edition or a multi-year period of two to three years. The selected host will present Classical:NEXT under licence, retaining the event’s established format, brand and global community while benefiting from its international reputation and cultural and economic impact.
Since its inaugural edition in Vienna in 2012, Classical:NEXT has been held in Munich, Rotterdam, Hannover, Berlin and Budapest, with the 2027 edition taking place in Katowice.

30 September 2026.
