Classical:NEXT has put out a call for proposals for next year’s conference in Rotterdam. The 2018 edition runs from 16-19 May at deDoelen concert hall and convention centre.
The Classical:NEXT programme is made up of talks, panel discussions, pitches, workshops and seminars suggested by arts professionals from across the world. A jury then handpicks the best suggestions and creates the conference from these.
Submissions are accepted across the following categories: showcase, club showcase, conference and project pitch. Proposals are welcome from past delegates as well as those who have never attended.
“Outstanding and future-oriented artists, projects, topics and interactive conference formats from all corners of the classical music world are welcome,” said Classical:NEXT director Jennifer Dautermann.
Proposals can be made online for free using Classical:NEXT’s web portal. The submission deadline for programme proposals is Friday, 29 September, 2017.
