HarrisonParrott’s HP Voice division has welcomed soprano Amina Edris for worldwide general management. This season Edris makes her house debut at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden as Musetta in La bohème. Future projects include debuts at the Metropolitan Opera, Opéra de Lyon and Opéra Comique.
Soprano Leah Hawkins has joined IMG Artists for general management. The Metropolitan Opera’s 2024 Beverly Sills Artist Award winner is enjoying a busy 2024-25 season with highlights including her role debut in Aida at Arizona Opera and a return to The Metropolitan Opera for Il trovatore. On the concert stage she returns to The Philadelphia Orchestra for Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
IMG Artists has signed mezzo-sopranos Bella Adamova and Maya Gour to its roster for general management. Adamova, whose recent highlights include debuts at the BBC Proms and the Dvořákova Praha, looks forward to performances of Mahler’s Rückert-Lieder and the orchestral lieder of Alma Mahler with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. Meanwhile, Gour’s season highlights include a return to the Dutch National Opera for her role debut as Maddalena in the season opening Rigoletto and Mary in Die fliegende Holländer, plus appearances with Reis Opera, Seattle Opera, Oslo Opera and the Hong Kong Philharmonic.
Mezzo-soprano Sun-Ly Pierce has joined Opus 3 Artists in collaboration with Askonas Holt. This season, Pierce, who won Third Prize at the 2024 Operalia competition, makes role debuts with Detroit Opera in a new production of Così fan tutte by Yuval Sharon and Des Moines Metro Opera in The Cunning Little Vixen; she returns to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Fabio Luisi for Die Walküre.
IMG Artists has welcomed countertenor Key’mon Murrah for European management. This season Murrah debuts with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Opéra National Capitole in Toulouse, performs at the Aspen Music Festival, and appears in the world premiere of Jake Geggie’s Earth 2.0 with the Fort Worth Symphony.
Mikheil Sheshaberidze has joined Askonas Holt for worldwide general management, excluding Italy. This season the tenor’s schedule includes debuts at Teatro Massimo Palermo singing the title role in Otello and at Opéra national du Capitole Toulouse as Pollione
in Norma.
Askonas Holt has signed bass-baritone Liam James Karai to its roster for worldwide general management. This season, Karai debuts with the Polish National Opera as Escamillo in Carmen, Tiroler Festspiele in a new production of La bohème and Teatro di San Carlo singing First Nazarene in Salomé.
Peter Rose has signed with HarrisonParrott’s HP Voice division for worldwide management. The bass, who has received worldwide acclaim for his portrayal of Baron Ochs in Der Rosenkavalier, makes his role debut this season as Sir Morosus in a new staging of Die schweigsame Frau at Staatsoper Under den Linden.
Opus 3 Artists has signed singer, songwriter and actor Cheyenne Jackson to its roster for representation in North America. Jackson recently received a GRAMMY nomination for his concert performance as Tony in West Side Story with the San Francisco Symphony and conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, and an Emmy nomination for his role as a rockstar in Julie and the Phantoms.
Intermusica has signed jazz composer and conductor Miho Hazama for worldwide symphonic representation for commissions and full orchestral programmes. Previously she has worked with orchestras including the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the NHK Symphony Orchestra. She will be managed by Dennis Gerlach.
Maestro Arts has welcomed director Bruno Ravella to its roster for general management. Ravella, who started his career in marketing for the automotive industry before following his passion for opera, made his directorial debut with Garsington Opera, before going on to direct at European opera houses. In 2019 he made his US directing debut for Opera Theatre of St Louis. This season’s projects include new productions of Rossini’s Guillaume Tell for Opéra de Lausanne and La bohème for Opera New Zealand.
Rebecca Driver Media Relations (RDMR) has announced that it will now be partnering with Decca Classics to promote its classical releases in the UK. RDMR will provide media support for Decca’s artists and projects, as well as for select projects for DG Classics and Hyperion records. As part of this partnership, Alice Faure has joined the RDMR team to continue working for Decca Classics, DG Classics and Hyperion.
