Who or what has influenced you most in your career?
Oliver Knussen – the musician’s musician. Despite being an insane musical talent, he
was ultimately incredibly nurturing and supremely generous to other creatives, including me, almost always at his own expense. A rare breed, indeed.
Favourite city to perform in and why?
London for its endless variety of people, food, culture, diversion, shopping and sport.
Guilty pleasure/indulgence?
Chocolate. End of!
