China SPAF announces open call

The 21st China Shanghai International Arts Festival (CSIAF) is hosting the CSIAF performing arts fair (ChinaSPAF) and has announced the open call for showcases at the ChinaSPAF 2019.

Established in 1999, the annual CSIAF has grown into an international platform for cultural exchange, and last year over 800 delegates took part along with 460 organisations and 53 countries visiting. ChinaSPAF will run from 17-21 October at InterContinental Shanghai Jing’An.

CSIAF aims to create, “a festival of arts, a gala for all”, with sections including stage performances, exhibitions, arts education programme, forums and the young talents programme called R.A.W.! (Rising Artists’ Works).

Any performing arts programme from music, dance, drama, children’s show etc can apply with their project introduction, a five-minute video file along with images and technical requirements. However, there are limited technical conditions available at InterContinental Shanghai Jing’An.
