A new children’s television show set in the Paris Opera Ballet has debuted across the globe. Find Me in Paris is for kids aged six-to-12 and aims to match the popularity of dance programmes for adults.
The show tells the story of Lena Grisky, a young Russian dancer who travels forward in time from 1905 to the present day, where she struggles to fit in with the modern world. It features members of the company’s school performing as dance doubles for the cast.
Find Me in Paris, which is filmed in English, has already been commissioned for a second season. It is produced by Federation Kids & Family, Cottonwood Media, ZDF and Paris Opera Ballet. The budget for the 26-episode first season was €12m.
ZDF, Hulu, Disney France, Disney Italy, France Télévisions and ABC Australia are all broadcasting the show.
